2) What this Privacy Policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you use:
the Life Advisor Telegram bot (“Service”), and
our website (lifeadvisorai.com), if you visit it.
Telegram is a separate service provider with its own privacy rules; this Policy covers what we do as the bot provider.
3) What data we collect
A) Telegram account data (provided by Telegram):
your Telegram user ID,
username (if set),
first/last name (if available),
language-related or basic technical metadata that Telegram provides to bots.
B) Content you send to the bot:
messages you type,
your selections inside the bot (e.g., state choices),
program/task interactions.
C) Payments and purchase status (we do not store full card details):
purchase type (e.g., 7-day program, Basic/Pro plan),
payment confirmation status, timestamps,
transaction identifiers/receipts where provided by Stripe / Telegram Stars / YooKassa,
the minimum data needed to resolve payment issues (e.g., provider, amount, currency).
D) Security and service logs:
basic server logs (e.g., time of request, errors, anti-abuse signals).
4) Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
We process personal data for the following purposes:
To provide the Service (bot replies, access limits, programs, delivery of tasks).
Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
To process payments and grant paid access.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c), e.g., accounting).
To maintain security, prevent abuse, debug, and improve reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Support and complaint handling. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and/or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Sensitive data note: Life Advisor is self-help, not therapy. Please avoid sharing highly sensitive personal data (e.g., medical records, official IDs). If you choose to include sensitive information in your messages, we will process it only to provide the Service to you and handle it with increased care and access restrictions.
5) Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed to run the Service:
Telegram (as the platform through which the Service operates). Telegram processes your data under its own policies.
OpenAI (LLM provider): message content may be sent to OpenAI to generate responses. OpenAI’s API data handling includes abuse monitoring logs retained up to 30 days by default, unless configured otherwise or legally required.
Payment providers: Stripe, Telegram Stars, YooKassa (to process payments and confirm access). Stripe describes that it may act as controller and/or processor depending on context, and provides its privacy terms separately.
Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases, email delivery) strictly as needed to operate the Service (e.g., sending support replies, storing service data).
We do not sell personal data.
6) International data transfers
Some service providers (e.g., AI and payment providers) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and provider compliance frameworks.
7) How long we keep data (retention)
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above:
Bot account and conversation data: while you actively use the Service; if you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days), unless we must retain something for legal reasons.
Payments and accounting records: retained for the period required by applicable law (e.g., accounting/tax).
Security logs: retained for a limited period necessary for security and troubleshooting.
8) Your rights (EU/EEA users)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights including:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly. Material changes may be communicated on the website or inside Telegram.
